At the start of the year, exciting news came out of CooperVision® Canada with the launch of MiSight® 1-day contact lenses. Currently in the midst of a 10 year trial, MiSight® lenses have already been proven to slow myopia progression in children by 59%. Myopia (or nearsightedness) increases the risk of vision threatening conditions in later life. The higher the level of myopia, the greater the risk.
